API Keys

The API Keys section allows you to generate, copy and manage your Quantdle API Keys. In order to use Quantdle’s EA for downloading data into your MetaTrader 5 terminal, you’ll need to generate your unique API keys.

It’s a quick and easy process. You can follow the steps to generate your API Keys below.

Obtain your API Keys

1. On the main dashboard, locate the API Keys section and click the “Generate API Keys” button.

   

2. Then, your API ID and API Key will be generated. Click on the copy icons to copy them to your clipboard.

Securing your API Keys

Your API keys are confidential credentials that grant access to your Quantdle’s EA data plan and monthly bandwidth. To ensure your account remains secure:

• Never share your API ID or API Key publicly or with untrusted individuals.

• Store your keys securely, ideally in an encrypted or password-protected environment.

Protect your API Keys

If you suspect your keys have been compromised, you can generate new ones at any time in the Quantdle App.

Note: Remember to update your API Keys in the EA if you have generated new ones.
